Barry Van Burge, the head of a commercial TV network, certainly doesn’t, but he does believe that ghosts are good for business. Inspired by the number one rating US ghost hunting TV show, Phantom Phreaks, he decides to recruit two local teams to create their own pilot shows. He then brings in respected documentary filmmaker Harvey Hutchens to document the process. However, as Harvey quickly discovers, the ‘ghost hunting’ scene isn’t exactly what he expected and as one weird experience is followed by another he finds himself questioning his own beliefs and trying to make sense of his own life.
Filled with bizarre and interesting characters and ‘whacked out’ situations that have to be seen to be believed, Phantom Phreaks takes you on a journey through the spooky and funny side of the supernatural realm. The truth is out there, or is it?
