Elizabeth, a lone backpacker, had no choice but to stay in the old Community House when her accommodation options were so limited. What she’d soon learn is the old house that seemed innocently cosy, would soon reveal a devilish secret. Encounters is a short film available on the Haunted Australia DVD.

“With a flashlight in hand, the neighbor entered the community house while Elizabeth followed closely behind; the flashlight beam lit up the darkened residence. Making their way up the stairway Elizabeth suddenly experienced an overwhelming sensation of melancholy, wilting under the intensity of the feeling. Noticing Elizabeth’s change in posture the neighbor inquired if she was all right. At that moment, the whimpering that Elizabeth had heard earlier, returned.”
